Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if therapy is right for me?
If you’re thinking about therapy or wondering if it’s something you should engage in, then I encourage you to reach out! Therapy isn’t right for everyone, and that’s something we can talk through together. Additionally, I might not be the right therapist for you, and that’s ok! Together, we can decide what your best next step is.
How much do you charge, and do you take insurance?
Here are my self pay rates as of November 2025.
Individual Therapy - $150 per session
Couples Therapy - $175 per session
All sessions are 55 minutes long. Currently, Colorado Medicaid is the only insurance I accept. For those wishing to use their out-of-network insurance benefits, I can generate super-bill's for you to submit to your insurance company. If you are a self-pay client and the price of these appointments feels like a barrier, please let me know, as I reserve a number of sliding scale payment options for folks who qualify.
What types of clients do you see and what types of things do you see them for?
I see all types of clients! I work with those who are 13 years of age and older. Most of my clients are impacted by depression, anxiety, life transitions, grief and loss, substance use, and/or varying levels of trauma.
I only want to do EMDR - is that an option?
Yes - I am trained in EMDR therapy and have many clients who specifically come to me for this type of work. Together we will assess your readiness to engage in this type of specific trauma work.
Are you accepting new clients?
I am! Please reach out to me to schedule a time to connect. I offer free 15-minute consultations to see if we are a good fit before we begin our work together.
